Rise Up- Global Prayer for a Better World

The G20 summit will be meeting in London on 2 April.  At Micah Challenge we believe that it is an important moment.

The International Director of Micah Challenge, Joel Edwards writes, "The global economic crisis is likely to impact the promises agreed in the millennium development goals, as well as finance available for development.  90 million more people per year are expected to descend into extreme poverty.

But we as Micah Challenge are painting another picture: a Christ-centered picture where we, the church, RISE UP for justice.  RISE UP is calling to Christians around the world to pray: for G20 leaders and wisdom in decision-making; for the church to help shape our global systems to glorify God; for the poor to RISE UP from injustice and suffering."

Micah Challenge India invites you to RISE UP and pray! Our prayers can make a difference. We are partnering with Micah Challenge UK and urging Christians across India to pray very specifically for the G20 summit.
